Senior travelers Trip Desert adventure for senior travelers Jeep Safari (8 days - 7 nights) This program is designed for senior travelers, who would like to explore the historic and natural sites of the Sinai desert, while still enjoying the comforts of a hotel or lodge. The program focuses on historic sites, such as the Nabatean remains, the ancient sites of Moses and St Catherine’s monastery. Packages include:
The program: Day 1: Arrival Sharm el Sheikh airport and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is free. Day 2: Free day in Dahab Day 3: We start from Dahab at 9 am and drive to Wadi Gazala, to appreciate the beautiful view of this desert valley. We then drive to Salama Canyon, the small Coloured Canyon, which is a relatively easy 30-minute walk through this naturally coloured canyon. We then continue to Ain Khudra oasis. Along the way we will stop at the Mushroom stone. We will have lunch in the oasis. After lunch we will drive to the Rock of Inscriptions, to see the ancient writing on the rocks and enjoy a beautiful view of Ain Khudra oasis from Al Sharafa. We then go to the Nawamis area, to see the Nabatean structures. We wil continue to St Catherine city to spend the night in a hotel. Day 4: Today you will visit St Catherine monastery. After this visit we drive to Wadi Ferain, an important historic oasis in Sinai. We will have lunch here and visit the Seven Nuns monastery. After this we will drive off-road to the El Karm Ecolodge. We visit the nearby Nabatean remains and spend the night at El Karm. Day 5: After breakfast, we will drive to the Hamam Musa, “Moses’ Bath” near El Tor. After lunch, we continue to Hamam Faroun, hot thermal water surfaces along the coast, where steam turns the few caves into natural saunas. We then continue to Ras Sidr to spend the night in a hotel. Day 6: We will drive to Ayun Musa, the biblical spring where Moses turned bitter water into sweet water, after crossing the Red Sea. After lunch we will drive back to Dahab. Day 7: Free day in Dahab. Day 8: Transfer back to Sharm el Sheikh airport Prices per person in Euros, based on double occupancy --------------------------Prices in Euros----------------------------------
