Egypt overland tour (8 days - 7 nights) Cairo - Aswan - Luxor - Cairo Packages include:
The program: Day 1 - Cairo: Arrival in Cairo and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is free. Possibility to visit Islamic Cairo, Khan el Khalili market, The Citadel or do a boat trip on the Nile. Day 2 - Cairo: Today we visit the Egyptian Museum, with its more than 100,000 relics. Your guide will be with you for two or three hours, after which you are free to roam the museum yourself. Afternoon visit to the Pyramids and the Sphinx at Giza. In the evening we will board our first class sleeper train to Luxor. Day 3 - Luxor: Arriving in Luxor in the early morning. In the afternoon we will visit the East Bank and see the Luxor Temple built by Amenhotep III and the Karnak Temple. We will spend the night in Luxor. Day 4 - Luxor: In the morning we visit the West Bank, Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens. We may also visit the tomb of Tutankhamum (optional). We can also visit the Colossi of Memnon and the Temple of Hatshepsut. We will spend the night in Luxor. Day 5 - Aswan: In the morning we will take the train to Aswan. We check into our hotel and in the afternoon we will visit Philae temple and the High Dam of Aswan. The rest of the day is free. We spend the night in Aswan. Day 6 – Aswan: In the morning we visit Kitchener and Elephantine Islands by felucca and in the late afternoon we will take the first class sleeper train back to Cairo Day 7- Cairo: Arriving in Cairo in the early morning. The rest of the day is free. Day 8 - Cairo: Later in the day we will get a transfer back to the airport.
